This look is inspired by Excellence. In 1996, a policewoman by the name Chioma Ajunwa became Nigeria’s first ever Olympic gold medalist. A woman of many talents, Chioma represented the nation in 100m, 200m, football and most importantly long jump.She experienced a major setback during an alleged drug scandal where she was banned from competing for 4 years. However, she came back from this in 1996 to win our first (and only) individual Olympic gold.When it comes to almost any sport, at home or in the diaspora, you don’t have to look far to find a Nigerian achieving excellence.
